With continuing deforestation and forest fires wiping out trees at an alarming rate, we need to rehabilitate forests now more than ever! This is why we have partnered with One Tree Planted to plant five hundred trees.
We at IMPACT EVERYONE have great ambition but we want to start small with our goals. As the IMPACT EVERYONE community grows, so will our goals.
ISSUES WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT:
Deforestation is the source of innumerable environmental problems. Did you know that deforestation causes a decrease in the bacteria produced by trees? This allows more pathogens and parasites to develop, such as the Nipah virus that causes malaria. We at IMPACT understand that wood is a natural resource used for large variety purposes to benefit humans, but as a worldwide community, we must find a way to limit deforestation before our world suffers further. Help save our forests and jungles with our Tree Bottle before it is too late!
The Amazon Rainforest is one of the largest and most diverse ecosystems on Earth. As our human population rises, we depend further on our natural resources to provide food, shelter and energy. It is estimated that we have destroyed about 20% of the Amazon at a rate of 20,000 square miles a year. At this rate, we could lose the entire rainforest in under 50 years. Our mission is to spread the word about the importance of these habitats and to help save our rainforests!
